So I had a few baddish apples and thought I'd make some yummy applesauce to warm us up on a rainy 80 degree day...go figure...Austin! It turned out delicious. You all should do it this fall.
Any apples, peeled, cored and sliced
little bit of sugar
sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on
Fill with about 1" of water or a little more and cook over stove top. Bring to a boil. Turn down the heat, cover and let simmer until apples are tender and you're able to mash them.
I like them somewhat chunky and not super smooth. Eating it warm was really yummy too. A great healthy fall treat.

Super Saturday Projects
So it's that time of year again. This is what we're doing this year. This I found on this website. It's a great affordable site for church and home craft stuff.
Found a lady in Utah that will do these specialized for $6 each. Awesome huh?

Cards from Sept. Card group
The ladies here in Austin meet monthly for a card swap and make and take. I hostessed the make and take in September, here were the cards we made. Our theme for the month was ribbon.
This is not my creation. I'm really good at copying and following directions though. Go here for a tutorial.
The beginning
I have officially started a blog all about my spare time! Since I have so much, ha. For a long time I've been inspired by others blogs which show the projects that they do etc. and have wanted to start one of my own. If you have something you want to share lemme know and I'd love to post it. My idea is to give my friends ideas and inspiration (since I'm so inspirational!) and build a desire for you to WANT to craft. It bring so much joy to my life that distracts me from the mundane parts of life.
